	The existing production process of methyl octabromoether is similar to octabromoether, including three steps of synthesis: ① synthesis of tetrabromobionic acid A by bromination from bisphenol A; ② Tetrabromobisphenoic acid A reacts with allyl, or 2-methyl allyl halide to produce tetrabromobisphenol A diallyl ether, referred to as tetrabromoether intermediate; ③ Tetrabromoether is then added with bromine to obtain octabromoether or methyl octabromoether.
